Davis-Bacon Checklist
This document was provided by the Arizona Department of Commerce to assist contractors in understanding basic Davis-Bacon labor and payroll rules. Note that contractors are responsible for sub-contrators. Note also the rigorous reporting and verifications requirements. Failure to comply with Davis-Bacon rules on any federal contract in excess of $2,000 may result in serious penalties. H2O and HAMC are required by law to enforce this legislation and will terminate any contrator that does not fully comply with it and will report that contractor to the appropriate authorities for legal and financial sanctions. If a contractor has questions about proper procedure please contact us or designated staff at the Az Department of Commerce. Here is the
checklist.
